My piece "Horse" was featured in the Evilution dark art exhibition! I was unfortunately unable to attend the event, but still appreciated the opportunity!

I was invited to Harmony & Diversity Day at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum! It was a spectacular event that brought so many amazing artists from so many different backgrounds together to share our various forms of art. My piece “Cuboidal Expressionist,” made its Public debut as well! It was truly an honor to be apart of this amazing event, and I’m glad to have inspired people through my work!

Monotonous Sensation
Gouache, 8x8
“Wandering through the land of my dreams has always invoked a blend of fear and comfort. It doesn't feel much different from waking life- walking through a strange atmosphere, passing distorted faces, and worrying about the smallest things. Maybe I’ll run into a friend, or a foe, or the ghost of a flamingo to light my way. No matter what, I can’t change this reality. I hope he’s kind to me…”
This piece was inspired by the music video of the song "The Divine Chord" by The Avalanches. It depicts a magical yet eerie forest and a suspicious apparition in the form of a flamingo with a light bulb for a head. With this piece, I wanted to evoke a sense of danger, curiosity, and maybe even hesitant comfort. We don't know if we can trust this being, but what other option is there?

Tigerstyle Capitalist
Mixed media, 8x8
“Alone, we are like the smallest creature against a hungry tiger. We can spit and bite all we like, to no avail. The tiger is no more a deity than we- as powerful as they may seem. Sewing our souls together by the thread of hope is the only way we could blanket that is ferocious.”
Inspired by old kung fu films, this piece depicts a fight between a tiger and a rat. Clearly, the battle seems to be a losing one, as the rat's bird allies watch from a distance. Of course, to defeat a foe much bigger than oneself, one must fight in numbers.

Cuboidal Expressionist
Mixed media, 8x10
This piece was purely experimental for me, as it was the first time I've used fabrics in a "painting." I used various scraps and just did what felt right to me. Thankfully, it worked out, as this piece was on display at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum!
